Penn hits club record (we think!?)

On Saturday Simon Penn hit a potential club record 183 not out for the 2ndXI away at Hawkesbury Upton.  We are currently looking into the history books and asking around to see if anyone can remember a bigger score being hit for Hampton.

Eye witnesses tell me it was a brutal knock that took advantage of an inexperienced attack and sent fielders scuttling to all corners of Hawkesbury Upton to retrieve balls!

Congratulations to Simon and the rest of the lads in the 2ndXI who ran out winners by a remarkable 299 runs! Surely one of the biggest wins in the country this weekend!!
