A brilliant end of season junior presentation night at Stuart Fields!

Glos and New Zealand star Hamish Marshall took time out from his busy Cheltenham Festival schedule to visit the Club, join in with coaching the youngsters and present their end of season merit awards. The U11s side were also delighted to learn that they had won their league this season too!

He also met with parents and coaches and once the youngsters had left , over a beer we had a really good chat about county and international cricket and the issues surrounding getting youngsters involved.

He’s a great bloke and Mighty Minch wish him well when he returns to NZ at the season end.

PS: He told us the Glos win over Surrey last season in the Royal London Cup was right up there with his favourite games!
