From the groundsman
Al and I cut the square yesterday – dressed like two Michelin men (me more than him) it was the first cut we had managed since last Autumn. It was still very wet but minimal damage.
Our collective efforts in September look good: Excellent grass coverage, very few bare patches. Heaven knows what’s in store this week (snow flakes as I write) but after the thaw and a couple of cuts we will get the spiker on it as draining is important. Then we get in to the real pre-season – all kicks off on May 5th.
We have all materials for the bar build /exterior painting / interior painting … will be looking for some hands on. Keep peeled to this and twitter / facebook.
